Check In / Check Out

Check in is at 16:00 (4:00 PM) and check out is by 11:00 (11:00 AM). When you arrive please come inside the main entrance and find your welcome letter on the wall in front of you. We will leave the lights on in your room and your key will be placed on the bedside table.

If you need time to translate your welcome letter, please let us know and we will send you a copy prior to check in.

Cancellation

Guests / Groups reserving 4 or fewer rooms: Refundable if cancelled 15+ days from check in.

Guests / Groups reserving 5 or more rooms: Refundable if cancelled 31+ days from check in.

Tour / Professional companies reserving 5 or more rooms: Refundable if cancelled 61+ days from check in.

Lodge Rules
  • Remove shoes and any mud or snow covered gear at the front door.
  • No smoking / vaping inside the lodge or in your room. Smoking inside will result in a $250 cleaning fee.
  • Do not leave any exterior doors or windows open.
  • Please be courteous of other guests and clean up after yourself in common areas including the kitchen, dining, and sitting areas.
  • Do not cut, break, or damage trees, bushes, or land.
  • Do not enter any out buildings or rooms which you have not reserved.
  • Do not feed wildlife.
  • Managers live on site. If you need something during your stay please let us know. If we are away from the lodge, our contact information is posted by our door.
  • Quiet hours are 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. If multiple noise complaints are received from other guests, you will be asked to vacate the premises without refund.
  • Only human waste and toilet paper may be flushed down the toilets. Please do not flush feminine hygiene products, paper towels, baby diapers or wipes, etc. — they lead to costly septic servicing.
  • Do not wear snow shoes inside the lodge, in your room, or on any wooden walkways.
  • Visiting non-paying guests must be approved by management. You are renting a room at a lodge, not an event center. Please be courteous of your fellow guests.
  • No recreational vehicle parking.
  • Barbecuing is allowed only on the back porch with the provided propane grill.
Payment

A $10 deposit is required for reservations made through our website more than 14 days before check in. Full payment is required for reservations made through our website that are 14 or fewer days from check in.

Guests who book through Expedia Group websites and choose “Pay at Hotel”: your payment will be processed 14 days prior to your check in date.

Guests who book through a third party who collects payment: please contact the third party for information about how and when they process payment.

Payment for any damages is due upon discovery.

Occupancy

Room rates are based on single or double occupancy. Each additional person over the age of two is an additional $25 per night.

Damaged or Missing Items

Missing or damaged property will be billed at twice the replacement or repair cost. All property, including cold weather gear, is for use on premises only. Staff time to clean or repair will be billed at $35 per hour.

Items Left in Room

Personal property left on the premises will be held for 30 days and can be returned, subject to payment for shipping costs.

Additional Fees
  • Smoking fee is $250 per occurrence.
  • A late check out fee of $30 per hour applies for each room and each hour after noon on the day of check out.
Housekeeping

We do not provide daily housekeeping service, in an effort to reduce waste and remain eco-friendly. Please let us know if you would like fresh towels, sheets, trash bins emptied, or any other housekeeping during your stay.

Cancellation Due to Bad Weather or a Natural Disaster

We recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances including travel interruption. We do not guarantee weather conditions and are not responsible for travel restrictions or other circumstances beyond our control. Travel insurance is available through independent carriers.

Amendments

Our policies and procedures are subject to change. The interpretation and implementation of our policies and procedures is at the discretion of the owner(s) / management.
